See life-size dinosaurs come to life in the giant screen film Dinosaurs Alive now showing in the Lied Super Screen Theatre. You can dig for dinosaur eggs and touch a fossilized leg bone in the exhibit Hatching the Past: Dinosaur Eggs & Babies.

Dinosaurs Alive!

Dinosaurs Alive is a captivating adventure of science and discovery that will enthrall you with its unique look at the entire age of dinosaurs. The giant screen film, narrated by Michael Douglas, features spectacular animation and a live-action story that joins renowned paleontologists from the American Museum of Natural History and their graduate students in the field as they uncover new fossils—including the remarkable discovery of what may be the oldest dinosaur ever found in North America. The film, sponsored by Dex Media and KHAS-TV, shows through Monday, September 8 at the Lied Super Screen Theatre.

Hatching the Past: Dinosaur Eggs & Babies

While not all dinosaurs grew up to be the size of Tarbosaurus, all dinosaurs started up small as babies. Takes a rare and exciting look at the life of dinosaurs through their eggs, nests and embryos in the travel exhibit Hatching the Past: Dinosaur Eggs & Babies. The exhibit, sponsored by Yellow Book, will be on display through September 14, 2008 in the East Gallery.
