Eat & Peek

Monthly Brown Bag Lunch Series

Tuesday, June 8

12:15 - 12:45 p.m.

Each month a unique, rarely seen treasure will be pulled from the vaults of the Hastings Museum during the monthly brown bag lunch series “Eat & Peek.” Held on the second Tuesday of each month, museum staff members will reveal this hidden treasure from the museum’s collection. The program is free and open to the public and will begin promptly at 12:15 p.m. and conclude about 12:45 p.m. to accommodate guests who attend during the lunch hour.

“This is an opportunity for adults to learn more about the museum and to see objects that people don’t normally get to view,” said Teresa Kreutzer-Hodson, curator of collections. “It’s also an opportunity for visitors to ask questions and discuss artifacts with museum staff.”

  • Tuesday, June 8 -- Nebraska Native Plants
