Saturday, February 18, 4 pm

The Film: Weather has always been one of the most dynamic and complex forces shaping our planet, but now it’s intensifying in varied and complex ways. Extreme Weather takes us to the frontlines where few have gone. Don’t miss this amazing footage of calving glaciers, raging forest fires, and destructive tornadoes. Learn how all weather is connected!
The Program: Join us after the film for a panel discussion. We hope to encourage an informal exchange of ideas, wuestions, and answers regarding weather and climate change. Featured panelists include: Dr. Jim Dugan, Hastings College Physics Professor, and Mike Moritz, Warning Coordination Meteorologist, National Weather Service.
