Special Museum Tours for Father’s Day Weekend

Dad ThingsWe love dads and we know you do too. From hunting, fishing, and golf to corny jokes and crazy ties–they’re the best! And they deserve a Museum tour dedicated to their special weekend!

Join the Hastings Museum June 15 & 16 for four tours with a paternal theme: Dad Things. Learn about a few of the founding fathers of Hastings and amazing dads in the animal kingdom. We’ll even pepper in a bit of information about famous TV dads. Join us for small-group 40-minute tours that Dad and the whole family will enjoy. All ages are welcome.

We know that fathers know best. But our tour guides are pretty great too! You’ll learn more about flamingos, foxes, and cool birds called Jacanas. Famous Hastings dads including Albert Brooking, Samuel Alexander, and William Lanning will also be addressed. Edwin and D.M. Perkins were both great dads–like father like son–so they’ll be mentioned too.
