Sign-up now for the 34th annual Festival of Trees


Now’s the time to register for the annual Festival of Trees at Hastings Museum! Our annual Tree Decorating Party is set for Saturday, November 19, and the deadline to register is Monday, November 14.

This year marks the 34th year area clubs and community groups have brightened the Museum with beautiful – and sometimes very creative – Christmas trees. It allows non-profit youth and adult clubs to showcase their organization with decorations reflecting the purpose of the club. Each tree is distinctive, and who knows, you may get an idea for decorating your own tree!

Bring one non-perishable food item per person for admission to the museum for participating club members AND their immediate family during the decorating party. The food will be donated to the Hastings Food Pantry to help those in need.

Please Note:
Electrical outlets and space are
limited due to the Museum sharing
space with the Hastings Public Library
for the next 18 months. Outlets on
the main level will be guaranteed
only to the first 15 completed
registrations. All other trees will be
located on other levels and may or
may not have electricity.

Last year, nearly 60 groups, including Scouts, 4-H clubs, and other non-profit organizations participated in brightening the Museum.
