Don’t Miss this Star-Studded Evening!
Live Sky Tonight Shows: 5:45, 6:15, 6:45 pm, Planetarium
These will be 15-minute shows with Planetarium staff pointing out the stars and planets that you should look for when it is your turn to look through the Museum’s new telescopes. It is best to try to catch this show before you get in line for the telescopes.
Constellation Craft: 5:30-7 pm, Main Diorama Hall
Did you know you can see a whole other galaxy when looking up in the sky? Learn how to find it by making a glow-in-the-dark constellation art piece to take home! This station will be set up near the entrance to the Planetarium.
Free Cookies & Hot Cocoa: 5:30-7 pm, Main Diorama Hall
Every event needs a few refreshments! Stop by by whenever it suits your schedule.
Telescope Viewing with Museum Staff: 6-7 pm, just outside the Museum
Here’s the main event: We’ll have three of high-powered telescopes on our front patio, and staff nearby to assist and answer questions.

One More First:

Join us before the event, or right after, for First Man (PG-13). This film tells the riveting story of NASA’s mission to land a man on the moon. It particularly focuses on Neil Armstrong’s life and the years 1961-1969. Tickets can be purchased in advance to ensure you get a seat!
