  1. Carol Hoffman says:

Will the tours be wheelchair accessible?

  2. Unfortunately, the buses for the tour do not have wheelchair lifts. However, during the tour you would not have to disembark the bus and everything in the Museum is wheelchair accessible.

  3. Henry Dunbar says:

Please clarify the first tour date. April 11 is not a friday.

    Thanks

  4. You are correct. Sorry for the confusion. Our first tour is on Saturday April 11th

  5. Eric Beeson says:

    How can I sign up?

  6. Call the Museum at 402.461.2399! We’re so glad you are interested!

  7. Sara Horstmann says:

Will more of these tours be scheduled in the future?

  8. Hi Sara: Yes, we do plan on adding more tours in the future. Nothing this winter, to avoid foul weather, but summer 2016 is a possibility. If you’d like to be put on a list and have us contact you when our plans are finalized, please call our front desk at 402.461.2399 and give them your contact information. Thank you for your interest!

  9. Chelsey Mangers says:

Is this something available to 3rd grade students in Hastings Public Schools. We study Hastings History in the Spring.

  10. Time Trudell says:

Is there a charge for babies under 1? Also, are they allowed on the tour? Thanks.

  11. The youngest tour participant we have hosted was 7, and he enjoyed it, and behaved wonderfully. My boss has already left for the day and I’d want to check in with her on this. My inclination is that we would not allow babies, as children that young may put the sound environment at risk for other tour participants. I am happy to ask though. I’ll get back to you on Monday. Thank you so much for your interest.

  12. Theresa Frasor says:

Want to k ow if you’ll have these tours every month in the summer. My Grandmother was killed on this day in 1944 in one of the explosions. I have some letters you may want to copy as well.

  14. Not every month, but yes we will bring these tours back in the summer! And yes! We would LOVE to copy those letters. I’ll reach out to you via email. Thanks for letting us know! — BT

  15. DeAnn Smith says:

Can people just buy tickets to the D-Day movie or is it only available as part of the tour package?

  16. Yes! You can just just attend the movie! It’s a wonderful film!

  17. Karen Clements says:

I haven`t received my tickets in the mail. Are we just to pick them up at the desk?
Is the planetarium included with tour?

  18. Hi Karen! Your tickets are here! I mentioned your inquiry to our front desk and they’ll be giving you a call to explain what is all included. So happy you’ll be joining us on the 18th!
