Family Program: Wild Wonders
Theme: Nature in your Neighborhood
Sunday, DEC 3, 2-4 pm

Don’t miss our next Wild Wonders family program. This month we’ll explore the urban habitat the surrounds the Museum and Arboretum. We’ll learn about local wildlife and make observations about how these animals survive in the winter. There will be a few activities that will help to awaken your senses. We’ll also have a make-and-take activity that will provide a food source for birds! This event will take place outside, so come prepared for the weather!

Wild Wonders is a new nature based family program that takes place every other month. Each program will center around a hands-on nature topic. This is a great opportunity for kids ages 5 and up, as well as adults to learn and explore the natural world around us! Join us for hands on activities, hikes, presenters and opportunities to get outside and enjoy the world around us.

Dress for the weather. We’ll likely be going outside!  This program is FREE with paid museum admission or membership.  Call (402) 461-2399 and register by noon the Friday before the program.

Upcoming Wild Wonders programs:
Sun, FEB 11: Spring Migration & Sandhill Crane Basics
Sun, APRIL 7: Community Science & You!
