Themes:

SEPT 16: Insects under cover. We will have a log dig to look for what insects and decomposers call decaying logs and woody material home. There will be magnifying lenses and microscopes to examine what little critters we can find with a closer look.

SEPT 22 & 23: Autumn Equinox. The season is changing, the days are getting shorter. On this first day of autumn join us in the outdoor classroom as we learn about the equinox and create and decorate a personal sundial to take home.

September 29 & 30: Who am I? This weekend in the outdoor classroom come explore our mammal touch table. See if you can identify which animals are on display by observing their fur, skull and scat. As well as learn some fun facts about the mammals that live here in Nebraska.
