Join the Hastings Museum at Brickyard Park for a special evening of stargazing beginning at 9:00 pm. As the sky darkens\, we’ll explore the constellations\, planets\, and bright stars under the actual night sky. \nUsing a powerful green laser pointer\, our guide will trace each constellation in the sky so you can see exactly where it lies among the stars. Whether you’re brand-new to astronomy or already a seasoned stargazer\, you’ll come away with a deeper appreciation for the universe above us. \nPlanetarium Coordinator Kirk Rosberg will be your guide for the evening\, ready to answer your astronomy questions and share fascinating insights about the night sky. Bring a lawn chair or blanket if you plan to stay for the full program and settle in for a relaxing\, educational evening under the stars. \nThis event is weather and clouds permitting! If it is too cloudy\, the event will not be rescheduled.
