Up Close:  Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

Cognitive behavioral therapy is the most widely used evidence-based practice for improving mental health. CBT focuses on the development of personal coping strategies that target solving current problems and changing unhelpful patterns in thoughts, beliefs, and attitudes, behaviors, and more. It was first used to treat depression, and is now used for a number of mental health conditions. You don’t have to be a psychotherapist to use CBT! This December we get Up Close to Cognitive behavioral therapy and what it can do for you!
