Parent Room, Calm Down Space

This space is located on our top floor and provides a space for nursing mothers, baby changing station, and a remote quiet space if someone is experiencing sensory overload.

Social Narrative with Photos

Link here for for a social narrative with photos. It can be a great tool for anyone who benefits from advance notification of sounds, lights, and interactions.

Planetarium Open Captioning

Most of our Full Dome Shows have the option to have open captioning upon request. To see if the current Full Dome show has OC, check out this link. (Scroll down to pages 4 and 5.)

Visual Schedules

This schedule includes pictures of all exhibits, restrooms, and various activities around the Museum. You can create your schedule and move them after each task is completed. It can also work as a “first, then” schedule. For people who benefit from a visual representation of their day at the museum, this is a great tool to check out. These are available for check out at the front desk.
