Every April during National Volunteer Week, the Museum recognizes our amazing volunteers who donate 50 hours or more in one year at a City Council meeting. With those meetings going digital due to the COVID pandemic, we still wanted to show our appreciation for these volunteers.
We also recognize volunteers earning the Presidential Volunteer Service Award, which is a national award based on age and the number of hours donated. In 2019, we had 8 volunteers receive this award.
