Kirk Rosberg has worked at the Museum on and off since his senior year in high school. He first joined the Museum’s team in 1984 as a part-time planetarium assistant. In 2008 he was promoted to his current position as Planetarium Coordinator. Kirk has a B.A. degree from Hastings College in Communication Arts, Psychology, and English with teaching endorsements in English/Language Arts and Psychology.

Kirk conducts live planetarium sky shows for public audiences and school groups as well as running full dome video shows in the planetarium. Periodically he presents to community organizations on a wide variety of astronomical subjects. He regularly produces a video segment called Astronomy Spotlight for the Museum’s website and social media channels.
