Dip your toes into water with Project WET’s early childhood book, Getting Little Feet Wet. This curriculum guide is designed to teach young students about water in fun, age-appropriate ways. It contains 11 activities that cover a range of topics, including water properties, water sounds, where water is located, what water can be used for, how water changes with the seasons, and more. These investigation-based lessons are scalable to engage students PreK-2 and are correlated to educational standards. They are designed to be used in a variety of settings and are highly adaptable.
This workshop will introduce you to the guide and teach you how to use it as you explore water with your students. We will also dive into a variety of topics to deepen your understanding of water and how connected we are to it. Each participant will receive a copy of the curriculum guide Getting Little Feet Wet, as well as take home materials to help you get started on your environmental education journey.

This workshop is funded through a grant provided by Project Learning Tree. It is FREE to sign up. Registration is required to prep materials.
