Description: Put on a pair of comfortable shoes and join our staff as they take you for a spin around Central Community College’s Hastings Campus. To honor the 80th anniversary of D-Day, the Museum is offering a special History on Foot. Long before the college inhabited these grounds, it was the Naval Ammunition Depot. The campus was home to the administrative buildings. You’ll discover snippets about what the historic buildings were used for before CCC moved in. Bring a smartphone if you want to see historic photos of the buildings we stop at. Tour guides will use microphones. Please know seating is limited along the tour, and no restrooms will be available. The Tour will start in front of the Clay building.
To start the tour, we will meet in front of this building. Today it is the Clay dormitories.
