Where: We will begin and end at Central Park on Second St. in downtown Hastings (near the corner of Burlington and Second St. and next door to Eakes Office Office Solutions).
Who: All are welcome. Great for families, Scout groups, adults, cool people, people who love history, and people looking for something different to do.

Description: Put on a pair of comfortable shoes and join the dynamic duo of Curtis and Russanne as they take you for a spin around some of Hastings’ most famous and lesser known historic sites. You’ll discover snippets about Hastings’ residents downtown businesses and come away with fun factoids that are sure to impress your friends and family. There will be restrooms available along the route. If you want to see historic photos of the buildings we stop at, bring a wifi-capable mobile device, such as a smartphone. Tour guides will use microphones. Please know there is not a lot of seating along the tour.

This new tour was suggested by one of our senior patrons. It will move a bit slower and we hope it will interest anyone who needs a more leisurely pace. No RSVP necessary. Free-will donation. Same meeting place, Central Park on 2nd Street.
What if it rains? This program is weather-dependent. If it is cancelled due to inclement weather, we will post that update on our website and Facebook page by noon the day of the event. No RSVP is required for History on Foot. We hope you join us!
