LIVE SKY TONIGHT UPDATE: RESCHEDULED TO OCTOBER 21!
Due to rain and cloud coverage, our Live Sky Tonight has been postponed to Wednesday, October 21, from 8–9 pm!
Experience the wonder of the cosmos right here in Hastings! Join the Hastings Museum at Brickyard Park for a special evening of stargazing as we explore the night sky together.
Kirk Rosberg, Planetarium Coordinator, and Katie Karr, Museum Educator, will bring one of our powerful 12” telescopes to the park for a closer look at the waxing gibbous Moon and the planet Saturn!
The bright Moon will make spotting some constellations more challenging, but there will still be plenty to discover! We’re also hopeful that next Wednesday will bring clearer skies and more comfortable temperatures for an enjoyable evening under the stars.
Bring a lawn chair or blanket, ask questions, and enjoy the wonders of our universe!
