This program includes fun and fascinating facts about these amazing creatures by promoting the identification of raptors, their natural habitat, and habits associated with their surroundings.

Following the presentation, participate in a hands-on lab dissecting owl pellets and reconstructing skeletons of prey animals. This ticket also includes Museum Admission.

Founded in 1976 as Raptor Recovery Center, RCA has to date rescued and treated over 15,000 raptors from Nebraska and surrounding states. Nearly 50% have been released back to the wild, among the highest success rates in the country.

The Raptor Conservation Alliance provides care and support for injured and orphaned raptors in preparation for release; to assist in the management of raptor populations and raptor research; to enlist public support for raptor conservation through educational programs, displays and special events utilizing live raptors as ambassadors for their kind. Raptor Conservation Alliance is unique in its structure; a statewide volunteer network that picks up injured or orphaned raptors and releases those successfully rehabilitated. RCA also presents educational programs on raptors across the state. RCA is licensed by the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission and the US Fish and Wildlife Service to handle raptors, and have a 45-year history under Raptor Recovery Nebraska.
