Celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Hastings Symphony Orchestra and learn about the music that shaped our community.

The exhibit explores the history of the Hastings Symphony Orchestra’s conductors, musicians, and performances over the past century, showcasing the people who have brought music to life and the moments that have defined the orchestra’s legacy. Highlights include historical photographs, personal stories, the Symphony’s original recording, and a look at the orchestra’s evolution through the decades.

This exhibit is based on research compiled by former HSO conductor Dr. Byron Jensen. Special thanks to Dr. Byron Jensen and Deb Johnson for their support on this project. Our gratitude also goes to the Adams County Historical Society and Hastings College for their assistance with research and images.
